The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) continues to offer FREE mental health appointments in Boort. Appointments available to Loddon Shire residents
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Victoria continues to offer free mental health appointments with a mental health accredited Social Worker, Patrick Boyer.
Patrick is providing support to the Boort community and has a great understanding of both the challenges and the rewards of living in regional Victoria. Patrick has taken over this role from David Turnbull, who has relocated to another region. He is passionate about continuing to provide high quality mental health care to the Boort and surrounding communities.
RFDS is encouraging people aged 18 years and older to reach out and make an appointment if you are experiencing:
- Low mood or depression
- Anxiety, persistent worry or stress
- Relationship or family difficulties
- Financial stress
- Grief and loss
- Concerns for a family member of a friend
- Or any other mental health and wellbeing concerns
If you are experiencing these or other symptoms, Patrick is available to support you in person at Boort District Health every second week. Appointments via phone or video are also available.
